XFINITY SIGN UP
Xfinify has now completed the street line work in our development. You can visit their website at http://www.xfiniity.com to set up an appointment to install their fiber-optic internet service, TV service, landline phone, and even mobile service.
The website provides step-by-step instructions, and you can lock in a 50% savings on internet service for five years. Please note that the service includes one year of free mobile service for one phone, so be sure to remove that option during signup if you are not interested.
There are many options available, so if you only want internet service, you can simply sign up for that. Keep in mind that Optimum service in our neighborhood is not fiber, in case you weren't aware.
It's very easy to schedule an appointment online, or you can call Xfinify at 1-855-870-1311 for assistance.

BEAR-RESISTANT TOTERS
The City of Torrington has purchased bear-resistant Toters for residents who want to purchase one. Currently USA Hauling rents bear resistant carts to city residents for $144.00 per year. The City would offer residents the option to purchase the Toters for a one-time fee of $300.00, which would cover the cost of the Toter and freight/shipping charges.
If you are interested in purchasing a bear-resistant Toter from the City, please email linda_orr@torringtonct.org. Include your name, address, phone number and email address. The City will deliver the bear-resistant Toter and remove the regular city provided unit following receipt of payment.

- Residents should leave trash bins in garage or an enclosed area
